The God damned scanning job.

Thu Sep 20, 2007, 7:08 PM
So... About a month and a half ago I started working at a gallery/store which I absolutely LOVE. Problem is, like all good jobs- I'm hardly making any money. Barely enough to pay the bills and buy food etc, and any luxury items are of course out of the question :|

Usually when I pray to God for money he gives me more work, and so was this time.
I found this lawyer who is a photography freak on his free time, and so was his father, and he's building up an exhibition of old photos of him. There's like a bilion of them, and he doesn't have any time- so I scan them for him.
He's a really nice guy, and I'm really thrilled of the opportunity to earn some decent moeny, but it's about the dullest thing I have ever done! :O_o:

With those two jobs I don't have any free time at all, and that is also starting to get to me... especially with Yom Kipur coming up, which is one of my favorites days in the year (I hope the religious DA crowd will forgive me... though I doubt there is any). The last two ones in Tel-Aviv was so much fun. It's the only day in the year the city actually looks peacful. I'm really depressed about the fact that I'll spend it all infront of the computer.

But the moeny thing keep me going...
I really want moeny. Money money money money.
I miss new clothes so bad. And shoes. And photography equipment! I'm still in debt over the camera I bought :(

So I try not to feel sorry for myself (right), and focus on my mission.

I hope you'll all have a great weekend...
Tzom kal to those of you who fast (and the slow ones too!) ;)
I have tones of new stuff and will be back in about two weeks. Wish me luck.
Miss you and yours truly :jackdirt:

i'd LOVE a job like that those are my favourite kind of jobs. the ones that lack of brains and that u just do stuff (not physical exhausting stuff) and u feel really usefull. u know, like the feeling u get when u cross out stuff from a "to do" list. how did u meet him?

I met in the street a very poor young man who was in love. His hat was old, his coat worn, his cloak was out at the elbows, the water passed through his shoes, -
and the stars through his soul.

I ran across some add he wrote, don't remember where... either some photography store or the net.
I can't believe you enjoy this sort of things, it's really driving me mad. It reminds me of the job I had at the jewellery factory when I almost had a nervous breakdown.
But a gal got to do what a gal got to do.

Anyway, please call! I really wanna hear about your trip, and those chicken hallucinations.
Hope you had a fun weekend.
